Achim Kuessner Elected as New Board Member at Karoll SICAV, Luxembourg

As Karoll Capital Management embarks on an ambitious phase of international expansion, achieving our strategic objectives requires experienced professionals with deep managerial and business development expertise across our key target markets in the DACH and BENELUX regions.
In this context, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Achim Kuessner — a highly respected investment industry veteran with decades of leadership experience at global asset managers — has joined the Board of Directors of our Luxembourg fund umbrella, Karoll SICAV. His appointment has been approved by the Luxembourg financial regulator CSSF and confirmed by Karoll SICAV’s General Shareholders’ Meeting on 24th June.

Mr. Kuessner brings extensive experience in the European asset management industry. From 2007 to 2023 he was the Country Head of Schroders for Germany, Austria and CEE. Between 2009 and 2013 he additionally led Schroders’ BENELUX operations, where he played a key role in business development, including the establishment of the Brussels office. Meanwhile, Mr. Kuessner also served on the Supervisory Boards of several Luxembourg-based Schroders fund umbrellas with combined assets exceeding EUR 110 billion. Prior to joining Schroders, from 1998 to 2007 he was Managing Director of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers GmbH for Germany, Austria and CEE, where he was instrumental in overseeing the merger with BlackRock.
